पॉजिटिव पे सिस्टम एक स्वचालित टूल है जो चेक के जरिये धोखाधड़ी करने पर लगाम लगाएगा। इसके तहत, जो व्यक्ति चेक जारी करेगा, उन्हें इलेक्ट्रॉनिक माध्यम से चेक की तारीख, लाभार्थी का नाम, प्राप्तकर्ता और पेमेंट की रकम के बारे में दोबारा जानकारी देनी होगी। चेक जारी करने वाला व्यक्ति यह जानकरी एसएमएस, मोबाइल ऐप, इंटरनेट बैंकिंग या एटीएम जैसे इलेक्ट्रॉनिक माध्यम से दे सकता है। इसके बाद चेक पेमेंट से पहले इन जानकारियों को क्रॉस-चेक किया जाएगा। अगर इसमें कोई गड़बड़ी पाई जाएगी चेक से भुगतान नहीं किया जाएगा और संबंधित बैंक शखा को इसकी जानकरी दी जाएगी। बैंक 50,000 रुपये और उससे ऊपर के सभी भुगतान के मामले में खाताधारकों के लिए नया नियम लागू करेंगे।
2 सिलेंडर की कीमतों में होगा बदलाव
तेल कंपनियां हर महीने की पहली तारीख को एलपीजी सिलेंडर की कीमतें तय करती है। यानी, 1 जनवरी से सिलेंडर की कीमतों में बदलाव होगा। हालांकि, इस बार 1 दिसंबर को कीमतें बढ़ाने की जगह तेल कंपनियों ने तीन दिसंबर को दाम बढ़ाए। अब तक दिसंबर में दो बार रसोई गैस की कीमतें बढ़ चुकी हैं। कंपनियों ने इस महीने सिलेंडर की कीमतों में कुल 100 की बढ़ोतरी कर चुकी है। अब ये देखना होगा कि नए साल में तेल कंपनियां सिलेंडर की कीमत बढ़ाती है या नहीं।
3 एक जनवरी से कम प्रीमियम पर मिलेगी टर्म प्लान पॉलिसी
नए साल यानी 1 जनवरी से आप कम प्रीमियम में सरल जीवन बीमा (स्टैंडर्ड टर्म प्लान) पॉलिसी खरीद सकेंगे। भारतीय बीमा विनियामक इरडा ने बीमा कंपनियों को आरोग्य संजीवनी नामक स्टैंडर्ड रेग्युलर हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस प्लान पेश करने के बाद एक स्टैंडर्ड टर्म लाइफ इंश्योरेंस पेश करने का निर्देश दिया था। उसी निर्देश को पालन करते हुए बीमा कंपनियां 1 जनवरी से सरल जीवन बीमा पॉलिसी लॉन्च करने जा रही है। नए बीमा प्लान में कम प्रीमियम में टर्म प्लान खरीदने का विकल्प मिलेगा। साथ ही सभी बीमा कंपनियों के पॉलिसी में शर्तों और कवर की राशि एक समान होगी।
4 बदल जाएगा जीएसटी रिटर्न जमा करने का तरीका
सरकार ने माल एवं सेवा कर (जीएसटी) प्रणाली के तहत छोटे करदाताओं के लिए तिमाही रिटर्न दाखिल करने और करों के मासिक भुगतान (क्यूआरएमपी) की योजना शुरू की है। ऐसे करदाता जिनका पिछले वित्त वर्ष में वार्षिक कारोबार पांच करोड़ रुपये तक रहा है और जिन्होंने अपना अक्टूबर का जीएसटीआर-3बी (बिक्री) रिटर्न 30 नवंबर, 2020 तक जमा कर दिया है, इस योजना के पात्र हैं। जीएसटी परिषद ने पांच अक्तूबर को हुई बैठक में कहा था कि पांच करोड़ रुपये तक के कारोबार वाले पंजीकृत लोगों को एक जनवरी, 2021 से अपना रिटर्न तिमाही आधार पर दखिल करने और करों का भुगतान मासिक आधार पर करने की अनुमति दी जा सकती है।
5 अनिवार्य होगा फास्टैग
केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय ने एक जनवरी 2021 से सभी चार पहिया वाहनों के लिए फास्टैग को अनिवार्य कर दिया है। डिजिटलाइजेशन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए केंद्र सरकार देश के सभी टोल प्लाजा पर नकद लेन-देन को पूरी तरह से खत्म कर रही है ।

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) एटीएम कार्ड और यूपीआई से कॉन्टैक्टलेस लेनदेन के नियमों बदलाव करने जा रही है। आरबीआई यूपीआई से कॉन्टैक्टलेस लेन-देन की सीमा को 2000 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 5000 रुपये करने वाली है और ये सुविधा 1 जनवरी से लागू होगी।
7 लैंडलाइन से मोबाइल पर कॉल करने से पहले लगाना होगा शून्य
देशभर में लैंडलाइन से मोबाइल फोन पर कॉल करने के लिए ग्राहकों को एक जनवरी से नंबर से पहले शून्य लगाना अनिवार्य होगा। दूरसंचार विभाग ने इससे जुड़े ट्राई के प्रस्ताव को स्वीकार कर लिया है। इससे टेलिकॉम कंपनियों को अधिक नंबर बनाने की सुविधा मिलेगी।
8 इन मोबाइल पर काम नहीं करेगा व्हाट्सएप
नए साल से एंड्रॉयड 4.3 और आईओएस-9 (iOS 9) से पुराने ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम वाले स्मार्टफोंस में व्हाट्सएप चलना बंद हो जाएगा। व्हाट्सएप हर साल आउटडेटेड आईओएस और एंड्रॉयड स्मार्टफोन को सपोर्ट करना बंद कर देता है। जो ग्राहक पुराना ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं, उनके लिए जरूरी है कि वह अपना फोन अपग्रेड कर लें।
